LED taillight that mounts on the underside of the rear fender. For the fenders of XL1200X/V/N and 883N models with integrated turn signal/taillights, or when the fender has been cut.

Please note

*Requires converting to a side-mount plate, replacing the turn signal/taillights, and modifying the wiring.
*Use the included couplers if they match your main harness.

FAQ

Q Can the "LED Inset Taillight KIT" be installed on the stock rear fender of a 2014 XL1200X?

Yes. It was originally a taillight for the stock XL1200X fender, and our fender is made to match that taillight.

Q Are there any issues with the angle of the taillight once installed?

It can be used without any problems.

Q I have a 2012 XL883R. Can I use the included couplers?

The wiring specs seem to have changed from 2014 on, so it is very likely not plug-and-play.
Please modify the wiring before installing.

Q I have a 2017 XL883L. Can the inset taillight for '14- be installed?

The inset taillight for '14- is made for the 883N.
The wiring is different between the 883L and 883N, so it cannot be installed as a bolt-on
*If you are also replacing the fender, I think at least some wiring modification will be needed
