Q Why can't it be installed on the Type 5 (2018 model year-)?

It interferes with the battery and ECU, and their bracket is welded to the frame, so that part gets in the way. (Cutting required)
*In theory it can be installed as long as nothing interferes, but relocating them would be difficult because of the many coupler wires.
