The Mini Turn Signal & Dimmer Switch Coupler-On Kit is a harness kit that connects to the bike-side couplers of the DS400 ('96-'09) for installing a mini turn signal switch and a dimmer switch (headlight Hi/Low).
This page explains the pin layout and roles of the two couplers, A and B, the connection diagram on the switch side, and points to note when securing the wiring.
01 Preparing the harness
Cut the harness to the length you like. Strip the insulation, insert each wire into the matching position on the switch (see the connection diagram below), and secure it with the screw.

03 Connecting to the switches
Connect each pin of couplers A and B to the corresponding terminals on the dimmer switch (top right of the diagram) and the mini turn signal switch (bottom right of the diagram) as shown.
04 Key wiring points
Strip a longer length of insulation from the ground wire, and clamp the wire itself to the handlebar together with the switch cover.
Exposed wire strands can cause malfunctions, so trim the wires so no strands stick out from the screw terminal.
After connecting, be sure to check that the headlight Hi/Low, horn and left/right turn signals all work correctly.
