02 Notes before installation
With replacement tanks such as stock-style tanks, the pump unit is mounted in a different position and may interfere. In that case, you may be able to avoid this by raising the tank mounting height or removing the main key cover.
Because the stock plug wires are short, they need to be replaced when installing this product. Please purchase the separately sold "Plug Wire Set" at the same time or provide your own.
After installation, be sure to check that all bolts are tight and that the engine starts and the main key switch works. Descriptions of the tools used and general wiring procedures are omitted. Due to individual differences between bikes, some adjustment or ingenuity may be required. If you are unsure about installing it yourself, please be sure to have the work done by someone with the proper knowledge or by a custom shop.
