The FT Fuel Tank KIT completely transforms the look of the TW200/225. It installs in much the same way as the stock tank, reusing the stock mounting brackets, rubbers, and fuel cock.
Here we walk you through preparing the parts and mounting the tank on the bike. If you don't have the stock fuel cock on hand, you'll need a separate fuel cock set.
01 Fitting the parts
-
Set the stock tank mounting brackets and rubbers in place.

-
Attaching the rubbers to the tank first makes mounting it on the bike easier.

-
Move over the fuel cock from the stock tank.

If you don't have a stock fuel cock, please purchase the separate fuel cock set (Fuel Cock Assy & Vacuum Hose for Teardrop Vintage Tank). The included vacuum hose is not used.
02 Mounting the tank on the bike
-
As with the stock tank, slot the front into the frame first, then secure the rear.

-
When seating the tank over the frame tunnel, the harness or cables may get in the way. If so, move them toward the center or otherwise out of the way as you install it.

-
Fit the included rubber and secure it with the bolt and washer.

-
Tuck the hose from the cap into the gap at the front. This hose vents pressure from inside the tank.

General explanations such as how to use tools are omitted. Due to variation between individual bikes, some minor adjustment or improvisation may be needed.
