Bolt-on hardtail kit, redesigned from the previous rounded shape to straight lines and refined over many updates.
HARD TAIL.
Hardtail kit that bolts on to the SR400/500
A bolt-on hardtail kit, redesigned from the previous rounded shape to a straight-line design and refined over many improvements.
High design.
Highly attractive design
Redesigned with straight lines! Designed to blend in with the SR frame as closely as possible, so it integrates seamlessly with the bike!

Wheelbase extends 50mm.
Wheelbase 50mm longer
Extending the rear wheel position gives the compact SR a more substantial look.
It also improves straight-line stability for more stable riding.

Bolt on fitting.
The hardtail kit is bolt-on
Because the hardtail kit itself bolts on, you can also go back to the swingarm.
*Cutting the seat rail ends is recommended. Also, because the ride height drops significantly, various parts will need adjusting, so we basically recommend having someone with custom (fabrication) experience install it

*The stock side stand will make the bike stand too upright, so modify or replace it to suit the bike.
*Cutting the seat rail ends is recommended.
*The stock rear fender, taillight, turn signals, muffler, etc.cannot be installed Please modify them to suit the bike and install.
*The footpegs are no longer rubber-mounted and become solid-mounted.
*The left footpeg is offset 9mm outward, so the stock rear-set footpeg cannot be used as is.Please modify it to fit, or switch to forward-type footpegs.
*If the stock frame is bent, the wheel may not mount straight
*If the stock frame has weld spatter, scratches or excessively thick paint, the collars at the footpeg mounts may be difficult to insert. In that case, file them down, etc.
*This product eliminates the shock-absorbing system, so vibration increases. Inspect and retighten before every ride.
*If you have tuned the bike with a bigger displacement or racing carburetor, we recommend a larger chain size (520, 530) and adjusting the reduction ratio with sprockets.
*Stock bolt-on parts (muffler, etc.) may not be installable.
*This product is not road-legal in Japan (will not pass shaken inspection), so it cannot be used on public roads. Please use it for classic racing, etc.
FAQ
Q I have currently converted to 520. What chain size do I need?
A
This product requires additional links for the extra 50mm length.
Since one 520 link is 15.875mm, "50/15.875 = 3.15", and for the upper and lower runs that is 6.3 links. Links come in 2-link increments, so it would be 6 or 8 more links, but
we think buying a slightly longer chain and cutting it is the surest way.
*The total link count depends on the number of links you currently use (affected by the sprockets)
