To install a typical '74 springer on an SR, many setups required adding a handlebar stopper to the main frame, but this product uses our own die design with a revised shaft offset, so it bolts on with no frame modification at all.

You send us your stock brake panel, and we modify it before shipping.

About the bearings

*For bikes from 1JR-341852 whose stem bearings are angular bearings, or bikes that have been converted to angular bearings,G5-00300、G5-00301 please use the '74 springer fork KIT for angular bearings.


*The stock bearings changed around the '99 model year at the frame number above. Even on applicable model years, many bikes have been converted to the later angular bearings during maintenance, so we recommend disassembling and checking first.

*The upper bearing race of this product is a dedicated part machined on a lathe to match the stem shaft.

*Only the upper bearing race is included. If you are also replacing the bearings, the frame-side races and the lower bearing, please use stock parts.

Notes on braking

Springer forks are much weaker than the telescopic forks that almost all stock bikes use today.
Unlike normal braking, ride using about 30% front and 70% rear braking.

This product is a front fork with a design from about 80 years ago. Roads and traffic conditions are very different from back then. The feel of the controls also
changes greatly, so ride safely until you are fully used to it (and of course after that too).

About installation

Always have this product installed by a professional shop.

Whoever does the work should read the assembly instructions thoroughly before working.
*Forgetting grease, threadlocker, etc. may cause a serious accident
We do not guarantee against any problems resulting from failure to follow the notes

About bearing wear

Springer forks are much heavier than stock telescopic forks, have less fork stroke,
and have no damper, so the stem bearings wear faster.
Replace them at shorter intervals than stated in the manual and grease them frequently.
