Installing the Saddle Seat Mount Kit (Estrella): Bracket Order and Securing the Wiring

Installation steps for the Saddle Seat Mount Kit (GOODERS SEAT KIT) for the Estrella. We cover the order for attaching the brackets to the seat, the rear bracket's orientation, zip-tying the wiring under the seat, and securing with the included bolts.

The Saddle Seat Mount Kit is a bracket kit for fitting a saddle seat to the Estrella. The Estrella kit for the GOODSEAT "SADDLE" installs with the same steps.

This page covers five steps: removing the stock seat, assembling the brackets, securing the wiring, and securing the seat.

01 STEP 01 Remove the stock seat

First, remove the stock seat from the bike.

02 STEP 02 Attach the brackets to the seat

Fitting the front bracket

Fit and secure them in the following order.

  • Seat
  • M8 washer
  • Bracket
  • M8 flange nut
POINT

The photo shows a spring washer, but the kit now uses only a flange nut. The M8 nut that comes with the seat is not needed.

Mount the rear bracket with the notch facing rearward
Notes

Mount the rear bracket so the notch faces rearward.

03 STEP 03 Zip-tie the wiring under the seat

Move the wiring where the seat rubbers rest on the frame off to the sides, and secure it with the included zip ties.

Notes

Be careful not to crush the wiring with the seat rubbers.

04 STEP 04 Remove the bolt, nut, and collar from the stock seat mount

Remove the bolt, nut, and collar from the stock seat mount.

05 STEP 05 Secure the seat with the included bolts

Installation complete

Secure the seat to the bike with the included bolts.

Notes

Always check that all fasteners are tight before use. If you notice anything unusual during use, stop using it immediately and inspect it.
