Installation steps shared by the Side Tuck Semi-Double Seat and Scrambler Seat for the Estrella. We cover removing the stock bracket and cable, swapping the rubbers, securing the seat, and notes for 2007-and-later model years.

- Removing the stock seat mounting bracket and cable
- Swapping to the tall rubbers when fitting to the stock fender
- What's needed for 2007-2013 and 2014 models
The Side Tuck Semi-Double Seat and Scrambler Seat (plain/vertical tuck) are seats for the Estrella. Both install the same way: remove the stock seat mounting bracket, then secure the rear of the seat with the included bolt and washer.
This page covers the steps from removing the stock parts to securing the seat, plus notes for 2007-2013 and 2014 models.
01 Removing the stock parts
-
Remove the stock seat mounting bracket.

-
Remove the cover from the stock seat mounting bracket.

-
Remove the cable.

-
Tuck the cable into the space under the seat. If you don't plan to go back to stock, you can remove it entirely.

02 Installing the seat
-
When fitting to the stock fender, swap the short rubbers on the underside of the seat for the included tall rubbers.

-
Remove the cable retaining clip.

-
Slot the front of the seat into the frame.

-
Secure the rear of the seat with the included bolt and washer.

When fitting to a non-stock fender, you'll need to drill holes in the fender.
03 About 2007-2013 models
On '07-'13 models, the seat can be installed by relocating the control unit.
The control unit (a black box) sits in front of the stock seat bracket on the rear fender and interferes with the seat. There's a convenient space under the seat, so many people put it there. In that case, you'll need to wrap it in something like sponge so it doesn't rattle around.
2007-2013 models require relocating the control unit.
04 About the 2014 model year
On 2014 models, the small rubber at the very front of the seat doesn't touch the frame, so you'll need to replace it with one the same size as the included tall rubber. Everything else is the same as in "About 2007-2013 models."
05 Before use
Always check that all fasteners are tight before use. If you notice anything unusual during use, stop using it immediately and inspect it. If you are unsure about the installation, be sure to have it done by someone experienced or by a custom shop. For any questions, please reach us through our contact form.
