01 Product features
Designed for the XL1200 and XL883, it achieves an idle volume of 91db (*). That's much quieter than the original 98db (*), and while peak power is nearly the same as the stock muffler, it's tuned to add power in the low and mid range.
For air-fuel ratio measurement, the hole for passing the exhaust gas probe into the exhaust pipe can be opened and closed with an M8 bolt, which makes tuning easy and also lets you raise the volume slightly.

03 Installation notes
If the mufflers are already installed on the bike, you'll need to remove the outer cover.
Fuel injection tuning is required. Tuning the injection so the engine runs with the correct fuel delivery and ignition timing gives you a smooth ride.
