The Relocation Meter Bracket changes the mounting position of the stock meter on the Harley-Davidson X350.
This page shows the process from removing the stock meter to swapping the bracket, fitting it to the bike and checking that it works.
01 Removing the stock meter
First, remove the stock meter from the bike.

-
Release the cables and wiring from the clips to free them.

-
Disconnect the wiring attached to the meter. Unplug the two types of connectors at the neck to free the meter wiring.

-
Remove the two bolts on either side of the key cylinder. The meter will come off the bike, so be careful not to drop it.

-
This plastic cover won't be used, so remove it.

-
Remove the bolt on the back of the meter.

-
Slide the plastic cover, remove the nuts and washers in three places, and remove the stock meter bracket.

02 Fitting the relocation meter bracket
-
Remove the rubber bushings from the stock bracket and transfer them to the same spots on the relocation meter bracket.

-
Put the meter back into the case. Make sure the wiring runs on the outside of the bracket.

-
Secure it with the stock nuts and washers.

-
Put the plastic case back and secure it with the stock bolt. There's a notch on the meter mount, so close the plastic case to line up with it. Be careful not to pinch the wiring.

- Fit it to the bike using the included bolts and washers. Use an appropriate amount of thread-locking compound.
- Reconnect the connectors and wiring you removed as they were.
- Turn the key on and check that everything works normally.
Use thread-locking compound as needed during installation. Explanations of how to use tools and general wiring work are omitted. Due to variation between individual bikes, some minor adjustment or improvisation may be needed. If you're unsure about the replacement, always have it done by someone knowledgeable or a custom shop.
